P80 Wheel Spacers Question

Hi all,

just have a question regarding wheel spacers. I have a 98 C70 with the 17inch Canistos running 225/45/17's. As per all cars with this setup, i'm getting some serious tyre rub when doing any form of turning manoeuvre. Wondering what solutions others have had, and if spacers are a good option? Hoping they'd improve the stance as well.

What was the original tyre size that was factory fitted to that model?

225/45/17 as fitted to the car currently.

Has it been lowered? Or the springs have lost some strength?

There should not be any contact with standard sized tyres and the correct ride height

The plastic steering limit stops on the lower control arms are probably worn, allowing the tyres to scrub. You can either flip them around or replace with new.
