Have you successfully reduced the cabin noise inside your (P2) Volvo? How have you achieved that noise reduction? I'm especially interested in reducing tyre noise on rough asphalt. The noise can become tiring on long drives.
The tyres on the S60 are new supposedly "quiet" Pirelli Cinturato P7s. The wheel alignment and suspension on the S60 is fine, plus the control arms were recently replaced - no bushings require replacement according to a recent comprehensive mechanical inspection.
I'll start experimenting with acoustic foam and measuring the noise, then posting the results.
