Hey guys first post (I know, scam alert!) but I have a M51 Getrag dogleg gearbox that is out of a Volvo 264 and apparently suits Sierra Cosworth cars because of the output flange. Shifts into every gear, no abnormal noises, etc. Bought it thinking it would work in a BMW. Has a speedo drive so would suit an older build

Drove a maroon & silver manual gertrag 264 back from northern NSW many years ago , very nice gearbox , only draw back was overdrive.
Don't know that you'll get that money for it though.
Option of Dellows bell housing and Supra 5 spd makes a good alternative at that price as the W58 is easy to get parts for.
Great box, but it’s getting German parts due to +40 years. Good to have a spare if you have one already though.
