98 S70 T5 M7 4.4 Tune

Hi All

Does anybody have someone in mind that can I can send my ECU to for a flash tune. I normally do my own but don’t have the software for the Motronic 4.4.

Mark Richardson does the Swedish tuner and exhaust father and son business tunes , TME /MTE.

He is VP Tuning and is at Voldat Moorabbin .

These tunes are excellent, the tuner has been doing this for a long time.

Excellent. Thank you. Also want to get rid of the torque limiter. Tuned that out of my C70 and V70R. What a difference that makes.

I don’t know about tunes and torque limiter.

I found a simple way with one of my P80s, a V70T was a T5 transmission computer and a boost screw and a el cheapo intercooler and big piping, torque like you wouldn’t believe, kept screwing the boost screw up to see if it would blow…..Never did!

Whereas a V70T5 transmission died for no good reason!

Sorry, I meant the torque limiter on the trans in first gear.

Dewolf Software for m4.4 tuning is TunerPro, it's a free download, full version. All the info and tuning files you need to get started are available online.

You can remove 1st gear torque limiter with a single click, calibrate for bigger injectors and maf. With extra files and a wideband you can have full closed loop fuel control. It's not the easiest to use, but if you have some mild experience with it you should work it out. I fully road tuned my car by datalogging, making changes, more datalogging, etc etc.

Excellent, thanks for that. I'll have a look at it. I currently have a Kess and K-Tag which is fine for most later stuff.
