2008 XC90 factory transport pause warning on dash

Help , I have a warning Factory transport pause come up, also I have no ignition lights until I crank the engine, starts snd runs ok. Also when headlights switched on ,all the front light flash on and off like the hazard lights . Tail lights are fine . I am thinking this is all connected to the dash warning

I found this about it:

Transport Mode Deactivation

Turn key to 'on' position.
Wait for chimes to stop.
Depress brake pedal 5 times.
Turn hazard lights on 5 times.

Horn will honk when out of transport mode.

Otherwise you will need to take it to a Volvo dealership (or anyone who deals with Volvos) and have them take it out of transport mode using VIDA.

Thanks for the info , I did see that on YouTube but it’s for the later model with push button start. ,
I tried it anyway but alas no such luck .thanks again for the info anyway.
I shall try and download the Volvo fault finding program .

You need both the diagnostic tool (VIDA) and the connector so you can plug your car into your laptop (DICE). There are Oz Volvoers floating around who have them, or I think you can get a "totally legit" copy of it all from Aliexpress
