So I went to change the glovebox globe in my 940, and was met with this thing:
You can buy T5 globe holders from eBay and the likes and put in a regular globe, or led.
Release the clips holding the wires that hold the original globe
Give them a good tug and they'll come out.
Your new wires will feed through the holes easily, just pull them through, cut the wires to the same length, heatshrink and solder. I didn't glue the globe holders together, the wire is gripped firm enough.
