Ex850R;24862 wroteI remember the picture of the rear quarter , what did they do to fix that? Good work.
LR cargo area glass was removed, as was most of the cargo area interior.
They beat most of it out, filed and lead filled in a couple of spots and then skim-filled over that.
Quite good, not 100% perfect but very close.
They knocked dents out of both LH side doors and did a combination of filling and knocking dents out of the LF guard.
The whole LHS was painted afterwards.
They filled smaller dents in the RHR door frame and the edge of the roof where it meets the door cavity. The upper door frame and a small part of the edge of the roof above was painted too.
We replaced the bonnet and RF guard with good ones in the right colour that Mark put aside for me.
I have good drivers door that still needs to be swapped over as the one on the car is littered with supermarket-type dings.
Visually, it was pretty bad even for its age. Now, it's more than acceptable.
The front bar, roof spoiler, RH mirror body and wheels were done though a normal panel beater as I didn't want to wear out my welcome with the TAFE guys who did the rest of it.
Funnily enough, the TAFE guys called me today and asked if I had anything else they could paint for it.
The '99-'00 roof rails that Rob sent down are going to get done by them to match the wheels (Ford/FPV Dark Argent).

Locally, there are a few decent panel beaters, they seem to be changing their focus to restorations rather than insurance work.
