Thinking about going but we have the National volvo Rally in Sydney 1 month before so may not get the time off work, over 100 volvos pre booked for this one

I was the only Victorian there, knew no one, and it was still worth it. I am very anti social, but had an amazing time. even If your friends aren't going (there are a lot of Victorians going this year) you will make new ones. No one is driving all that way to be a prick.

the last even had a bbq on saturday, dinner sat night , then a cruise on the sunday. I'm sure that it will be similar this year too.

I'll be going up on the Friday and heading back on the Sunday.

Darcy I think you forget that a large portion of the Victorian club, were only introduced to ozvolvo and VEGA, at last weeks club meeting.
So for many the club's national meet was the only one they knew about.
These ozvolvo meets are gaining steam it seems every time. So the only way (just like Friday night hangs) to make them bigger and better is to show up, especially in its infancy.

Don't think I read that any were? Other than the obvious being that many ozvolvo, vega and respective club members frequent each of the above mentioned.

If referring to my post, I introduced along with Heino, the two formats of information/communities to the Victorian club at last weeks meeting. This is because most of our members were not aware of these two main facilities available to them.

yeah darcy's comment was referring to the club nat meet the month prior. so most of the vic members are going there, rather than the ozvolvo meet of which majority i dont think know about

The Volvo clubs of Australia National Rallies are really good. The demographic that goes to these wont go to another event 'instead of', rather they'd go to another event 'as well as'

Timing has meant that I wont get to go to this years Volvo Clubs of Austalia National Rally (I might fly in and fly out on the same day, but I doubt it now), but they're a good event to go to.

I could have gone. Decided to have a week off in august in Sydney the week after. As I understood it, lots of members weren't going for various reasons.
