Transmission cooler + lines complete. I used some compression fittings from Enzed as the Female side of the stock trans lines didnt seem to exist. Needed to step from 10mm hose to 8mm as the cooler has am 8mm barb on it.
Power steering is now all sealed up & filled.
1 of the 2 heater hoses are fitted, used the top port on the junction as that one goes to the valve in the cabin, connected it to the steel pipe that the water pump feeds. I am using a chopped down 9/7 series hose for the top.
I made up 2x simple engine grounds as the 960 grounds almost entirely through the battery terminals to the chassis and I had eliminated the bay battery wiring.
The car now starts from a starter back located in the boot... grounded through the boot latch :p
Rigged up a SUPER TEMPORARY throttle cable using a red ring terminal & a small nut and bolt. The 240's stock throttle cable accepts the 960s plastic cable guide perfectly, but you almost definetly need to cut off the old cable end. I NEED to get this made up nicely, I do not like how janky this is.
Top hose is complete and fitted - I still want to find a black 34mm inline temp coupler as the 36mm is a biiiit too big for the hose. I made it from pieces of a 240 and 960 rad hose. Easy stuff
Will relocate horns to front right corner where there is HEAPS of free real estate
Charge light is now hooked up as well as a tach signal, Im thinking of making up another 12v ign block in the cabin as there is only so much piggybacking im comfortable with on the old ceramic fuse block.
Cooling fan wiring is next up, Ill be using my old cut down 850 fan mounted in a 740t fan shroud powered by a stock fan relay.
I forgot to take pictures today, Ill upload them tomorrow
Meanwhile - heres another clip of it without headers because I cant help myself & seeing it actually working spurs me on
