Revisit: Didn't have a protractor so I indented the helix gears on a piece of paper and used trigonometry. AU Falcon shaft was 38.45 deg and Cobra Mustang was 34.22 deg so about 4.23 degrees difference there. AU left, Cobra right.

AU falcon with bellhousing and adapter plate. Basically flush which is no good because cannot reach pilot bearing

T5 input shafts left to right: BA MK1 V8, AU I6, Cobra Mustang, BA MK1 I6. Difference between Aussie I6 and V8 t5 shafts are only helix gear teeth count - 23T for I6 vs 24T for V8 as previously established. This is definitely the case for BA MK1 as seen in picture and AU although I haven't physically seen a V8 AU t5 input shaft. AU and BA helix gear angle should also be the same but I didn't try it.
As bgz said notice the fine 27 spline on the BA vs 10 (EB-AU). Height of BA i/shaft is good but clutch disc to suit spline is 260mm+? over the 240mm limit for the Volvo 240 flat flywheel we used. It also costs 3-4 times as much compared to EB-AU!!!

After AU shaft was lengthened
I haven't added all the costs yet but guessing around 1.5k so far. If Jay's car is Alpha mine is Beta maybe 1 or 2 more conversions Alex could do up a cookie cutter kit for 740/940s. 240s just aren't worth doing :P
Going overseas tomorrow for 3 weeks won't be back til March 9th. Sorry boys we'll just have to wait a little longer! Unless someone here beats me to it! In the meantime here's something to chew on. Well I should better start packing only 10 hours to flight...
