UPDATE -

Presently near Howlong, NSW.

The Noodle has seized its aircon compressor, which threw the power steering belt.

So it will be a hot 'n' heavy drive out to Castlemaine and Angus-Land this afternoon.

Bugger! I've got a compressor here that should fit your car, I don't know how you'll go trying to get the system regassed on a long weekend though.

At the very least you could fit the compressor and some belts to regain the use of the power steering.

@jamesinc - Angus took a shopping trip into Maryborough (my present locale) only this evening and so we did the pre-arranged parts exchange tonight - as luck would have it, at about the same time you left the message above.

So Angus may not have brought whatever it was - I only have an FCP box and a 7 series rear sway bar for Dauntless. But I don't leave this neck of the woods till after lunch tomorrow, so if you guys wanna make arrangements.....

Hopefully you've got AC and PS again for the trek home.

Cocco is awesome and the people are great. I meet customers/clients there regularly, we often do post-race data analysis there too - the staff are happy to provide power and coffee and don't mind a laptop at the dinner table. When we had the little man, they even sent me back to the hospital with congratulatory slices and snacks.
