I have the silver 93 244 sedan shell with nearly like new blue interior if she is up for a bit of a colour change?

Okay so the A pillar is okay but the B pillar is misaligned as the sill has moved in a bit. We're going to re-shell the car but I think I'm going to put this shell in storage for a bit and come back to it later as it's not much damage really, I think the B pillar will be fine once the sill is removed, but I need to be pragmatic as Nina needs a car for work.

The factors here, as I see them are -

1/ Sentimental value - it likely has some for you.

2/ How many projects you wish to take on simultaneously

3/ How quickly transport is required.

I'm generally not very sentimental and I try to only have a single personal (vehicular) project on the go at any given time.

Nah I don't have the resources to take it on until I finish the other project I'm working on, but I do have the resources to put the car into cold storage let's say and come back to it sometime in the next couple years.

I like the car and I still have all the pieces I need to fix the rest of the rust in the body (usual places) and it's not like flathood 240s are getting more common.

Plus I fancy the challenge of getting it all straight again.

I have been a big sucker for the whole “hey, I have all the parts to fix this!” motivator/justification for a project, and it mostly just ends up messing with my head.

Unless there is a clear use for the end product, I find it really difficult to see it to completion.

This is something im starting to learn too. I watch videos and look at pictures of people enjoying their working cars and then look in my garage at the piles of junk im "going to fix" soon. Ive decided on no more basket cases and will focus on starting with and owning things that can be used and that arent perpetually always in progress.

Of course sentimental value plays a big role for a few of us who have had these cars for many years of our lives so theres that. Sentimental value also has clouded my judgement and usually results in me being disappointed and wishing I didnt open the pandora's box :|

I'm sentimental but I don't fuck around and I don't have the luxury of having storage space for mothballed projects so it'll either get fixed or parted out. But I do have to finish my current project before I can look at it, and that's still a couple months away.
