@powder_hound and I went to
@Philia_Bear's place, where we adapted some S40 seats into the 240. We only ended up getting the driver's done. The brackets are also kind of temporary. The good news is you can adapt an S40 seat to a 240 rail with
no welding. The rail widths are just right to accept ~5mm steel plate adaptors which botlt up to the S40 rail mounting locations. Seat is still height adjustable although we had to delete the little gas struts that help the seat go up, so raising the back is now really only doable when you're not sitting in the car.
Credit to
@Philia_Bear who did the bracket fabrication, which let's face it is basically all the work. I'm going to measure up the bolt relative locations and see about having some adaptor plates CNC cut out of plate steel.
Seat adaptor consisted of four pieces of plate steel with a hole drilled in each end.
Credit again to
@Philia_Bear for owning the greatest oil filter removal tool ever, I have to buy one. It's like a pair of rounded pliers with square pincers on the end, it can just bite into an oil filter from virtually any angle. Made getting the filter out easy despite the very poor access with the turbo and oil cooler lines there.

I forgot to take any good photos. Mike I think has some, hopefully he'll post them.
