That's neat, I was planning on powering the second wire of the astra pump on my car with the alt light too but was wondering if the current used triggering a relay would upset the regulator. I ended up using a 555 timer to offset the two triggers but I like the idea of using the alt as then you're not drawing for the pump whilst cranking and only whilst the alt is charging. Nice work with the fuse box too.

Pretty much as it is, but I'm thinking about adding a resonator to just take the edge off a bit. I want it to be quietish, not really worried if it robs power (it'll have enough). Currently it's 3" turbo back with a magnaflow muffler in the back.

Quick crimp un insulted ratchet chrimpers are the go. Been using them since an apprentice (15 yrs) with out fail and you can send them back to them and they will calibrate them for you used to be free of charge too. For doing relay blocks ect but I highly recommend them years they are dear but ebay ones are junk.

@SirNemesis To add in that you tube video i admire your electrical wiring skills on your relay block its very neat and you also got the names correct for the Deutsch connectors. I have seen peole pay professionals gYou are correct the plug on the earth cable for the battery is for current monitoring its for newer cars with smart alternators so that the car knows what the alternator is doing. Its a emissions based thing so I can switch off the field circuit when not required to increase fuel economy. Ultimately its just more hassle then its worth
