Looking good. The black on the doortops and around the windows needs to be white now. :)
1989 Blue 245 "Swagin' Wagon"
When everything else is done and I have left over money I'll respray the car but for now I just wanted to cover the fade.SPT940;34326 wrotelike the white roof. maybe the blackout needs to be body colour too?!?!?!?!?
I'd probably paint it the body colour as I like the white top. But I may wrap the front pillars and cowl.A_Volvo_Driver;34335 wroteLooking good. The black on the doortops and around the windows needs to be white now. :)
I think it would be fin to stop at the base of the pillars. Many cars (even some early Holdes & Fords) were done this way. Definately body colour for the blackout. and white wheels. Very nice!!!!
It works on older cars with more defined body shapes though. Even on 122s.
That's true. But I just don't want to see faded paint. Also I like the look, it's a bit different. I don't want to bring the white past the roof because then the tailgate will look ugly.
But how wide will stock support?
Wheels? I've heard 9's
9" steelies!! Oooooo.
I used to hear the old grey hair goons from another age talking about wide wheels and 6" steelies was the go , phwoar!!

Surely bits can be had cheap and do it yourself?

I'm hoping to find someone to help me out, I only want to do the rear.

I have a picture somewhere of some ridiculously low springs on my 245 wagon when at Volvrek workshop....
Working away , the car in the shop getting rwc to rego it then use for my trips to country for work , the boys tried some springs I got from who knows where , way too low , almost like your picture!
Just bought kings instead if I recal.
Front Koni Yellow adjustable , boy did it handle well at top speed! 135kmh!

@Ex850R you should post it if you find it!

How are the koni's? I'm stuck between koni's or b6's.

ive got B6's in the front and B4's in the rear of my car sourced from Ash. No complaints here.
What springs are you using? @A_Volvo_Driver
Lowered King springs in the rear, and the DVS special ones in the front. I'm not sure if they'll suit a wagon, so it would be best to speak to Ash.
