I have both 700 & 900 series DVD's best money I've ever spent has ALL the green books combined onto one single disc!
Thanks Will. Could be a Chrissy present :D
I've got these too and I have some reservations.
Firstly, they are clunky to use. The software protection built in is the problem. You have to use their version of a pdf program and the search function is useless.

Secondly, I've found them difficult to use in that finding the right part for YOUR model is a bit tedious. Sometimes there are so many variations over the years that identifying the part is tricky. It may be easier for those with a mechanical background and it does get easier over time.

But all in all I'm much better off with them than without.

I use VADIS for parts & the green books for everything else (technical description, repairs, removal & installation instructions etc). VADIS is a lot easier to use when looking up parts as you start by selecting year model, engine & transmission type, then it only shows you what's relevant & hides everything else. Another advantage of VADIS is that you can do a full install & run it purely off your hard drive so you don't need to insert DVD every time you use it. VADIS contains some of the information from the green books as well but not as complete.

Message me if you want a copy of VADIS.
Thanks for the feedback O&D. I have heard the DVDs are somewhat difficult to use until you get used to them. Another possible issue for me is that I use Linux so it could be pot luck whether it works or not.
I have a copy of VADIS (running in a Windows XP virtual machine) and I agree it's great for parts info especially when entering your car's VIN.
Works fine in a VM also but gets cranky when you try and get at the pdfs directly.
