Gearbox was in a car that sat for 10 years then removed. I have not had it running though am told it was fine.
Drive shaft included.

Found a speedo cable too.
Dipstick tube has been cut.
The tail housing is useful for anyone wanting to upgrade their 3-speed to a 4-speed to maintain the speedo drive.
AW70 (possibly AW71 too) from what I understand.
Oh right, that's neat. Yeah the 70 and 71 extension housings are the same. The only difference you get is the later 72s had a redesigned extension housing with a ball bearing instead of a bushing.
Found an aw70 pan and dipstick tube, if it fits it can go with auto and cable.
Do you still have this? If so, I'd like just the bellhousing and its bolts, the rear tail housing with the speedo drive fitting, the speedo drive from the transmission shaft, the output flange and bolt from the rear of the trans, and the speedo cable, please.
Please let me know postage costs to Launceston 7250.
"the output flange and bolt from the rear of the trans"
You have lost me on that one. I think you have my number, buzz tomorrow and can sort out.
Does nobody want it? Attempting to avoid work here stripping it and posting to Tassie.
Also found an AW70 that can go, will create another listing for it.
Hang on, the part that bolts to the drive shaft.
dmcHang on, the part that bolts to the drive shaft.
Ayup.... The output flange, which attaches to the propeller shaft, is held onto the transmission output shaft by a huge bolt. When you undo the bolt, the output flange slides off the back of the transmission, showing the splined output shaft undernealth. Anyway, you need to undo that bolt in order to remove the drive flange, so then you can slide the rear housing off of the back of the transmission.
Here's the back of the trans - the bolt I'm talking about would screw into the splined shaft from the left-side of photo to retain the drive flange. The splined shaft seen below would normally have the drive flange over it.
