Philia_BearIpd made (possibly still does) a large drop bar for use with v8 swaps that would possibly suit you
Couldn't see anything on their website, sent them a message. cheers

Falcon sway bars can be readily made to fit and dip down pretty low under the engine. I suspect as low as a Volvo 264 one.

Or use heavy duty front springs and you could get away without a swaybar?
Just a thought if no ready solution.

Thanks, looking into it. cheers
There are a couple of places in Australia that will custom make swaybars. You send them your original, tell them the thickness you want and indicate where you would like the extra clearance.
I inquired with this place a number of years back for another project. https://www.mako.com.au/
They were recommended by Whiteline/Nolothane. Didn't use them as I found an oem alternative but I recall pricing was pretty reasonable.

Brilliant!
Question. Why not go full custom and get a universal bar with splined ends? Like racecar stuff. Then you can pretty much have unlimited adjustability...
Don't know who makes them though...

Kaplanake does them to order

Thanks Matt. Trying to get a bolt on option. I'm in NZ, and don't really want to send a sway bar, to Aus, if I can help it. Trying to see what has already been used, with other swaps, first. cheers

jifents, I don't need full custom. Its not a race car, or even an autocross car. Its a family car, that is getting a different engine / trans, so it can stay in the family (for another 40 odd years). I don't need adjustability, just clearance for the 1JZ front sump. If I can't get something like a 260 series or EL Falcon (I'm looking for measurements, not diameters) to work. I'll get a plain jane bar made, that clears.
Do appreciate the suggestion, cheers
I have PM'd the OP, but in case it is relevant to someone else looking at this later.
I used an EL Falcon sway bar with my front-sump 1UZ-FE conversion.
I spaced the bar down and relocated the brake line bracket to ensure adequate clearance. It is using DVS adjustable end links.
The photo is not very clear, but it now has loads of room. With the brake line bracket mounted in the factory location it is pretty precarious.
