ashley186 Hi all - query about springs. Looking online - the Lovells listing for sedan springs states compatible 1983 onwards, the king's listing states 1974 onwards. Are there different springs for sedans based on year?
Your 1977 car will have the 'cotton reel' style torque rod bushes rather than the 'barrel' style.
We offer a lot of replacement bushes in urethane and oem type rubber and, from an NVH viewpoint and also in terms of service life, we don't recommend using urethane absolutely everywhere - having a combination of both rubber and urethane will help make it feel firmer, while retaining some compliance.

As @ramrod says, it's likely just a point in time when they first issued their catalog.
Kings springs for Volvo 240 and 740 models are now discontinued - this was a little annoying and we bought the last of the stock that they had. We ran out of these a while back and are now having an alternative made up.
If anyone suggests that they can order Kings in for you for a 240, have them make a call to order them while you wait.
If you're feeling game and they're confident they can get them, bet a coffee on it. You'll leave with cash still in your wallet and a free latte.
If you want to bounce around questions/thoughts on 240 suspension, just reach out. Happy to help, regardless of where you buy anything from.
