Looking for a pair of heated seat switches to suit a 240.
Also a center console to suit the suit the switches.

I've carried out this installation in my car, not sure whether you have the heated seat grids already installed or not but if you dont and new grids, I've heard that Volvo still sell them. I only found this out after installing some grids i bought from eBay which work ok but not the best.
Console is going to be new from EU as old ones break.

I fitted Audi A5 coupe seats to the GT, I was going to adapt that system to volvo switches.
You can get seat heater pads off ebay, they're pretty generic, they're just a hot wire wound around an insert at the end of the day.

Thats exactly what I bought but I wired them in as per the factory 240 wiring which I think was in parellel but if feels as though they're not that hot. Or maybe it's the ebay quality that's causing this

P (watts) = VA
So given a constant A (it's not actually constant but let's pretend it is), in parallel V=12 in series V=6 so parallel wiring would get you the hottest output. If they are still too cold, a few thoughts come to mind -
They are just a bit terrible They are designed for 24V systems (e.g. trucks)They are not able to draw the required current due to upstream restrictions (although this usually melts wires or blows fuses)Which ones did you get? What were the technical specs?
