Michelin Pilot Sport 4 are very good for their price - I had these on my Focus XR5 (235/40/18) and have them now on my V70T5 (225/40/18)
Bridgestone RE003 are very good when new but complete rubbish (on most cars) once they're worn down to about 70% tread remaining.
Bridgestone S001 behaved much the same on my Skoda Octavia RS and, hilariously, I swapped these out for a Federal Evoluzion ST1 (225/35/19) and they've been considerably grippier (than the S001 tyres they replaced) as they've worn. I'm typically one to steer toward a 'big name' tyre brand, so was cautious about getting them. They're cheap and quite good. I may consider getting them again when the time comes.
