FYI not sure if it helps you or not but if you get your hands on a set of the thicc rods they are a direct swap into the thin rod blocks, I built a nice B230FT that started out with 9mm rods that I swapped for 13mm, just slapped fresh bearings on and checked the clearances and sent it worked fine.
