Last night I put on another SU carb and manifold I bought off Mark Iceton. When I pulled my old manifold off both the inlets in the head for the rear 2 cylinders were FULL of fuel.
I thought it could have been coolant that had leaked out of the manifold as I was pulling it off so I rushed to soak it up and didn’t get any pictures. The link below is the last bit of fuel with a tiny bit of coolant that Got splashed in there.
Has anyone experienced something like this with fuel backed up behind inlet valves into the manifold? Does anyone have a theory on why there would be so much fuel backed up?
Thanks so much again everyone.
