jamesinc I had to destroy a strut insert (shock absorber) due to an unbelievably seized strut mount bearing and we'll probably order new shocks but I need something in the meantime so that this car isn't stuck on stands in my driveway.Show me what you got!
jamesinc Yeah we had a contemplative beer and I think we're going to just lay the car up while we wait for new shocks and new brake hardlines as everything is fucking welded together. I've dealt with a lot of seized brake lines on 240s but my god this is another level.
240wags I have a full set of Sachs ( front + rear) which have done about 15,000km if you wanted to go down that route.
jamesinc All good, in the end we managed to salvage everything bar one strut insert, and given the inserts aren't very old I've just ordered a single replacement shock for the one I had to destroy.
