I found out today that there are 2 different crankshafts fitted to B30's. Luckily I found a second flywheel buried in my crap with the correct number of holes. flywheel is fitted, just waiting on a clutch, spigot bearing and the overhaul of my slave cylinder and freshly acquired master cylinder. I also need to modify my 140 pedal box to suit..... tomorrows task.
btw thanks
@egads (she/her) &
@Spac for getting them bits to me fast. ^:)^
Spac said: 140 & 160 clutch pedals are different: cable vs hydraulic. I can't recall if the main pivot point is different or not. If it is different, then the 140 clutch pedal is useless.
Main pivot point is different, pivot is narrower and pedal is shorter, the 164 pivot point is higher, closer to the brake pivot point. In fact the pedal box is completely different in the clutch area. The 144 manual brake pedal is the same as the 164 manual brake pedal, so it will fit, i am going to use the bottom half of the 144 cluch pedal attached to the top half of a 164 auto brake pedal and it will work fine..
