Has anyone actually completed a BW35 --> M400 conversion on a 164. I just want to know what was required. 99% sure i have all of the gear i need apart from a bellhousing but want to double check.
EDIT:
I have sifted through my pile of crap and have found
complete gearbox
bellhousing
clutch fork
throw out bearing carrier
tailshaft
flywheel
gearstick boot
speedo cable
other items i have but will reco or replace.
master cylinder
slave cylinder
clutch plate
pressure plate
items that are missing
throw out bearing
clutch pedal
brake pedal
hydraulic line
slave cylinder to clutch fork lever pushrod.
I am trying to work out what else i am missing. I assume the crossmember and mount are the same, starter is the same and floor hump area is the same? Is a 240 clutch/brake pedal the same, if so i can get my hands on one fairly easily. I thought 240's may be cable clutches. What needs to be changed in the spigot area?
I have about 5 auto brake pedals here so was thinking i could even trim down one for the brakes and modify another for the clutch.
Does it sound as though i am missing anything?
