If it includes mounting hardware maybe, depends on how expensive 'not horrible' is? Hate being a tight ass, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Lol being a tight ass and owning vovlo go hand in hand altho it rarely works out as previous volvo owners you buy cars from are tight asses and you end up spending more than you wanted to on repairing and replacing parts to keep her going let alone on GO FAST bits. Lol ask me how I know but its a passion and enjoyment out of repairing and modifying a car that typically has a stigma of being an old persons car and is slow into something that is it quite quick, Comfortable and safe for the whole family. The other thing that's I love is the POLICE leave you alone i 15% tint around also probably louder than allowed exhaust but they don't look twice at me and I love it also if they ever want to look under the hood it all looks factory to them no shiney bits to pick on as 90% is factory newer volvo anyway
My 5cents
Preach brother, I'm +3k into a $300 car, no go fast bits to be seen... yet
Lol I wish I was only 3k in same as many other volvo owners here its a long slow journey even tho I run a 24 year old car I still get compliments on it ever where I go. I enjoy driving it and the sound on the 5cly on song deep and loud always makes me happy. I could go buy a new car with all the bells and whistles but that's not for me doesn't have the fun 90s vibe all lag then BOOST BABY BOOST. I like roughness and unrefinement of it all. The only other car I wish I had kept of the same ear with similar driving Characteristics was my Nissan 1990 R32 GTR. It was hard rough powerful and unforgiving if u pushed it to hard but very rewarding to drive especially in the wet
Another option is to get hold of the all aluminium rear end of an AWD P80 , gut it and huhave a much better set up than the silly Delta Link rear end on the FWD cars , having so many P80s and AWD ones too , forgetting the driveline losses with the AWD , that rear end is soooo good on the car.
I always was hesitant on fast long sweepers to put the boot right in as the. Delta Link decides to chime in with its ideas and feels squishy and wallowy and self steers , not for the feint hearted.....
Doesn't seem like an easy option, maybe putting in some newer/stiffer bushings to stop the whole 'passive rear steering' thing that volvo wanted seeing that the whole system revolves around them being squishy.
So guys where do we go just for the rear bar ? Any links ? Also who for the front bushes ? Any links for those ?
Front bushes I used these, I did read somewhere that the 850s had 3 different sized front sway bars, so obvs measure before ordering.
They look like this installed
And I used these little things to stop them from moving around
Ash , if you get an order of rear 850R bars made count me in please

Would be the same as my one then, lots of stuff on the US Volvo sites on how fun they are to install.
Grinder, blowtorch and a sharp scraper.
My original ones were in very poor shape, and this was alot cheaper then an aftermarket bar.

I've Just read a 3 page thread on this and with the lock as well to stop the sideways movement , interesting. As the og ones are vulcanised this lock seems a good idea ?
was there any update on the rear bars being made?
I also would be interested 8n a rear sway bar...
