@ramrod - thanks for the reply. Lots of good info there which I didn't know.
The lift pump is dead for sure. I've tried powering it up via a battery in the boot; no one home.
The main pump also appears to be cactus at this stage. According to the fuse box lid, Fuse #6 is for the main fuel pump. When jumpered to a hot terminal, there's no one home there, either. Tomorrow I'll get under the car, pull the pump, bring it back to the bench, and see what gives.
The bulb warning indicator is missing from this car, and there are two 6-point female Utilux connectors which are swingin' in the breeze in the vicinity of the fuse box. I wonder if one of them was meant to have a K-Jet system relay on the end of it.....
After checking on one of the '79 242GTs here (Rudie) the same 6-point connector was not connected there, either. (However Rudie was converted to B21 / LPG, and badly, so it doesn't appear to have a K-Jet system relay. The butcher who did the LPG conversion left some odd-looking relay hidden up behind the glovebox, with wires going everywhere, so Rudie has departed from the norm).
If you have a wiring diagram for the relay and fuel pumps for OZ-market 85 models, this will help a lot.
