Things over here have been really busy in the last fortnight but I was able to get a few hours over the weekend to spend some time working on the V70.
We installed the Do88 intercooler 'big pack' kit, which includes the reverse intercool plumbing kit as well. As I'd mentioned before, the quality of the intercooler is pretty good, though not as nice as a PWR built one etc. For what it costs (as a kit), it really isnt too bad.
Despite no instructions in the box, It went together fairly well but having a hoist made things easier. For a 'bolt in' kit, there's a couple of things that you'd want to be aware of to make life easier. It doesn't just 'bolt in'.
You'll need to modify the radiator shroud and fan relay mount for top pipework clearance. Easy to do but not everyone has a die-grinder or even a jigsaw at their disposal. There would have been a lot more swearing if you had to do this with a hacksaw. The airbox inlet snorkel wont 'just fit' either. You'll need to cut/shorten the supplied silicone IAC hose on the TB end to make the real estate required. Otherwise, you'd need to consider modifying the stock airbox or perhaps ditching it altogether.
Other than that, its a decent kit, but it does make me wonder if I am over-servicing my customers based on the documentation/guides I supply if you buy our products. The top-pipe is nice and follows the lines of the throttle cover really well.
I didn't end up powdercoating the pipework like I had originally planned to, though I might consider it if the engine bay 'bling' starts to get me down.

While we were at it, we replaced the old coolant reservoir, replaced the old upper engine mount with a delrin replacement and replaced the lower torque mount as well. As a precaution, we also replaced all of the oil cooler and trans cooler clips and o rings.
Since the pic above, it's also got a plain-jane airbox lid without the 'turbo' embossing as well, with thanks to @TL_V70 .
It needs another engine bay wash and a new coolant reservoir cap.
Here's the stock intercooler and the Do88 replacement side by side for reference -
And another pic with the intercooler mounted, before doing all the plumbing and without the fan and shroud in place -
And finally, just a general one -
Also, while we were at it, I dropped a socket on the top of the RH headlight and broke it, which was most annoying. I'll replace that with one of my spares when I have a moment next.
