Kool. It'll be in the next month or so.

I need to swap standard wheels back onto it, swap the stock plenum back on and get a few small jobs done.

What r u doing with the current wheels n plenum ?

Going to see if I can get the wheels on the V70.

18x8.5 ET40 might be snug though, so not completely against them going with the Focus.

One of my customers might want the plenum.

Looking good Ash. I do like the darker colours on the V70, I have a 97 T5 in silver but black looks way nicer. I look forward to reading future updates and hopefully get some ideas and borrow some inspiration from you lol ?

I'd expect ET40 8.5 with a 235 will be too wide in the front for the S40 but a 225 should be ok on the same rim.

I'll keep you in the loop regarding the plenum if my customer doesn't want it.

I love the look of the wheels but might end up getting a set of Koyas if I can't get these to work.

Worst case, I have a set of Volans I could refurb and use.

            Yesm

Gotcha. I know the ones. Not quite my taste for a P80 though.

18x8 ET45-ET48 would be ideal though.

I think they would look good

Actually, I think I'm confused - they look very good. Let me see if I can get my Fifteen52 wheels on first.

Very nice , just what i wanted for my V70s!

A nice charcoal paint or powder coat will suit the black duco.

              Thanks man.

I'm a bit the other way around. I had a silver one last time and would have preferred a silver or white one rather than black. I just like light coloured cars with dark wheels.

This one has a sunroof too which I'd rather it didnt have but T5s are difficult to get hold of now so I'm happy with what I ended up with. I also like the history of this one and will stay in contact with the previous owners.

Nothing really happening yet, other than acquisition and ordering of parts.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on my requests for help regarding fitting an old Alpine head unit into an old Volvo.

              See - https://ozvolvo.org/discussion/13842/advice-help-wanted-volvo-p80-v70-to-old-alpine-head-unit-loom-adaptor#latest

Here's the Alpine MD headunit I'm going to use, which I'd bought new in 2001.

If you get a " net Md" player. You can write a gigabyte of music on one disc.

I remember those. I dont have one though.

I've got a Sony MZ-R55 MD walkman and a Sony MDS-JE510 which is part of a cobbled together (but really nice) 90s hi-fi setup I have.

Using native format means that, while I dont get amazing compression with minimal quality loss, all my discs can be played by all my hardware.
