Inski Would a pre 99 s/v70 be the same? I have a couple with factory alarms
Its a P80 just the same but the alarms can be fitted by dealer so who knows.
The Volvo one I had was useless....
Forget it and get an aftermarket proper one if you want security as the old ones will have stuffed sensors too.
A dash camera with good recording ability hooked to a motion sensor alarms best bet.
If in South Africa you want the side mount gas jets and igniters to ward off traffic light carjacking.
I recall an old magazine feature of some expensive show car build but street driven having a dye bomb inside if anyone not meant to be there was.........Perfect but use tear gas as well....
