The handling department is still in the future. The car is stripped of seats and carpet and some trim. I have repaired the seats structurally now am going to recolour them either to saddle brown or black. The new carpet is a deep girzzly bear brown.

I also made a new centre console out of $8 worth of mdf and old vinyl and foam I had lying around. It looks rougher than a brand new plastic one but when installed it tends to sit between the seats and hopefully will look OK. And I will have an armrest

I also need to change the frayed driver's seat belt. Does anyone have one.
I am also changing the stereo to a better one I had lying around and need to add back the wiring to the rear doors and to a future subwoofer in the luggage compartment area.
One bit of knowledge I picked up. A five inch speaker does not fit in the front doors. I had to go back to a 4" speaker. Will now try to make the 5" fit in the rear doors for some extra bass.
