I've been slaving away today on a rear end that's been fighting me the whole time, some very rusty bolts caused me a few hours of headache, and now when trying to install the rear struts, I have about a centremter of play in the top of the mount (pictured)
This is obviously because I don't have the top nut tightened down properly, but I can't seem to work out how I'm supposed to tighten it, there are no flat spots on the strut to actually grip with vice grips or pliers, and trying to tighten the nut causes the whole shock to just spin.
Do I just need to cough up for an impact drill or am I missing something here?
