All up and running right I think, wideband is showing in RT and I was able to log and record a drive last night, I'll see what the 1st log response comes back with, it's the basic test of how the engine and sensor's etc are working and checking for any problems. Time will tell.

All sounds technical mate , what's it all for then ? Is this for racing of some sort or just normal driving conditions ?

I'll see how much power it makes then maybe go for a switchable map 98/e85, also see how it puts the power down, can have boost by gear so I'm not spinning wheels in 1st and 2nd,less power but a faster car in the real world

How did you go about wiring in the wide band to the Vast ecu? Was it easy Jimbo? I also have a Vast ecu sitting here with wide band control ready to fit i just need a wide band AFR controller wasn't sure on type to get. I am also curious to see how u end up I found Aaron very easy to deal with in my short dealing with him A++++ to VAST tuning

Yep it was pretty easy especially for someone like me who hated electrics, literally just wired the white output wire from my existing aem gauge to the black wire on a spare lambda connection and plug it in.

Finding Aaron easy to deal with, just to the point, I'll start doing some full throttle pulls as soon as I fit the new injectors and see how we go.

Not had much to update lately, everything just seems to work, famous last words ?, mapping has gone well with 10 revisions, just need to dyno it now for the final checking which requires some 4th gear wot runs which I'm not prepared to do on a public road for obvious reasons. So in a change for me I decided to give it a bit if a clean up.

That's not too far from the truth. The P80 cars are heavily front brake biased so rear brake upgrades net quite small gains. Even when you do move to a more serious rear caliper setup, you need to be mindful of pad compounds. It can take a decent amount of time to get rear brakes 'warm' to the point where more aggressive pad compounds begin to work well.

Finally got around to covering the air filter, not exactly enclosed but it's a start ?, yes I'm a bit tight on space so the catch tank pipes had to still take the direct route ?
