And how do I check afr's and tune in controlled circumstances doing a timed run?

Put a tow hitch onto it and put 2000kg behind it, will have plenty of time to log and tune going down the strip

Not given it any beans yet, I'll see how it runs on the map it's got atm when I find a nice quiet safe road, if it needs another map I will be able to flash 4.4s from Monday so I'll get one emailed over or maybe do some logging.

Thought about time I put a jacket on the turbo before I melt something ?, not the easiest things to fit with water pipes etc in the way but it'll do the job.

New ecu, decided I'd go down a different direction this time, rather pay for a service than relying on mates which can be a pain at times and a long drawn out process ?,

So simulated narrowband output 0-1V of the wideband is now going into the ECU, is the 0-5v output of the wideband also going into the ECU?

I did this with nearly every LH2.4 car I serviced, the PLX kit was $150USD with the sensor and was cheaper than a volvo genuine narrowband, so it always made sense to upgrade it. also found that when LH2.4 got fed really good data it would actually tune really dam well to whatever AFR you were targeting in the LH maps

Basically yes, doing away with the factory 02 sensor and having wideband control. Far more accurate and controllable, To be honest it's well above my pay grade mate that's why I'm paying someone else to map it. I'm just getting it all wired up and set up my end then log my drives and maps are emailed to me and the process starts again until everyone is happy

Okey sounds very good , i was reading about a gauge that can down load data via a usb post , think it was a n af and boost gauge all in one . Is it along those lines ?

Nope this is all controled through the ecu, have a read on the Vast tuning website it explains it far better than me.

I don't really understand it mate, but I had to take the 0-5v output from the wideband and wire it into the the black wire of a spare lambda sensor then plug that into the loom and unplug the original sensor, so now the ecu has wideband control.
