Yeah, it's a 2011 Th!nk City. The first ever, mass market EV built in the US. 24kwh battery pack rated for about 100 miles per charge. 44hp 66tq.

There are so very few here. I'm having to order parts from Europe.

Also, this car only had 3400 miles on it when I bought it. I paid $3700 for it and I have just over $5k in it right now. Once the suspension goes on and the full body wrap is done I'll be closer to $7k. Then wheels and tires are about $1200.

Motor swap is going to be closer $4-6k. But should triple the factory power level which is worth it to me. Small investment to have the most highly modified, fastest, loudest Th!nk in the world. Big fish, small pond.

I like it.

There's something so cute and happy about it.

Cheers. I'm not a big fan of the styling but I bought it for daily errands, not showing off.

It'll look better with the wrap and new wheels and coilovers.

Put a smiley face on it....

Just so ,when the redneck derides you over your choice of car, you can get out ,stand to your full height and scare the crap outta him.....

When I walk back to the car after errands I'll see people standing around looking at it, so I join in, asking questions. After a few moments I'll unlock the door and climb in. People are pretty impressed that it's so roomy on the inside. I used to get the same looks in the smart car. The smart car was roomier up front but the think has more cargo space

Many lols in this thread, plus learning stuff: Good to have you back Matty.

      10 days later

My new audio gear. Had to make an appointment with my installer for the week after Christmas. Hopefully this will drowned out the laughter from people in traffic.

Coilovers have been ordered and I'm waiting for the wheel adapters to come in before I order new wheels. Need to make sure I get the correct offset.

I found a top bloke about 5hrs from me who has a speed shop that builds EVs and race cars. He's offered to convert my car for me for free if I provide all of the parts. He's trying to develop a YouTube channel and he'll feature my vehicle on there as one of the first card they do. We're looking to use a custom Nissan leaf motor with a huge aftermarket inverter. This should be able to produce approximately 300whp based on the dynos from the guy who makes the inverters.

Way too much for this little car but my stock batteries should be good for about 150-170whp and if we decide to go faster I already have enough battery for 700hp... Not that a leaf motor could make that.

Not too shitty for a 1,000kg car.

That radio is really awesome with the phone integration

Yeah, not bad for $100. I just wanted an amplifier for my phone and couldn't believe they even made this. I'm picking up the back up sensors for this head unit after I get the body painted.

Would be only more amazing if it had a Bluetooth camera with a tie into reverse wire as well so phone acted as a display

Maybe has an input for video? I see a lot of head units with lots of inputs , I like an aftermarket HU over integrated any day!

I've got Pioneer head Units in both the Land Cruisers, I just need to sort out moving them around as the newest one is in the oldest one

Luckily for me the car is only 10' long so I have pretty good visibility out of the all-glass back. I just wanted the back up sensors to watch the curb in my driveway for me. If I miss that curb then I end up dropping about 2' off into the yard!

I had a woman stop me and ask if it was an old Volvo c30. I laughed and told her no but that I knew a country full of people who would be very offended to hear her ask that.
