WIP update on the body. The body shop found a lot more damage and rust under the respray than they were expecting, so it's going to cost a bit more than the original quote, but having said that, they have found exactly as much rust and damage as I was expecting and their quote is now closer to the amount I was expecting :)
Unfortunately the windscreen cracked on removal but it was just a cheap aftermarket one so I can understand it, I've never cracked original Volvo glass but I have cracked aftermarket glass more than once on removal.
Anyway what you REALLY want is some photos
If anything I'm really pleased to see the windscreen channel is pretty much rust free, other than the trim clips!
