This type is the later style that was fitted on the LHD 240s from 1990-1993. Dashpot was fitted inside car and actuated a lever attached to accelerator pedal. The same system was fitted to 740s but dashpot was mounted on bracket on inlet manifold instead of throttle pedal.
This is the 86-89 240 style fitted on LHD cars. It also had a dashpot inside the car but with cable pulling on accelerator linkage.
This is the pre-1986 set-up that featured a remote dashpot fitted in engine bay and actuating throttle linkage via cable.
