XC90 damage. Repairable or write off?

I'm not sure how repairable this is.
Rear floor has changed shape slightly and the third row seats cant be put up.
Rear tailgate wont shut.
Both rear doors binding (driver site hasn't been forced open yet).
The car that hit the rear (doing ~60 km/hr and 80% overlap) was a ~2004 Hyundai Elantra. It didn't survive, but sacrificed itself to save the driver.

Smells like hydrochloric acid ......

Towbar transferred the impact well!

The back of the car was covered in battery acid from the Hyundai. Some clothes also written off now after cleaning out the rear.

Replacement options?

Subaru Forrester - current model is a buzz box (CVT)
Subaru Outback - current 2.5 o& D are under powered but competent (CVT also!)
Volvo xc90 - current changeover is $$$$
Landrover Discovery Sport - ingenuim diesel balance shafts???? (its an English design - some things never change)
XC60 or XC40 - tempting but not available for delivery for months
Hyundai / Kia (Ok - ish but fail in rear seats. 3rd row might be fit for pets)

Another xc90 D5 looks like very good value!

There is no twin turbo 5 cylinder in the 90, they were all single to the last MY14. New shape has twin turbo but is a 4 cylinder. The XC60 D5 is an awesome vehicle. What's your budget and do you need 7 seats?

I was unaware we got a different d5 motor from 09 onwards from the rest of the world.....

Other than 'don't like', is there an issue with the Outback CVT? The Subaru CVT is generally bulletproof and I find the one in my Gen 5 Liberty mostly avoids the usual pitfalls. There's no doughiness from a standing start and if you floor it the car does rev right out. It can be a bit flat occasionally, but not often. The only issue I had with the Gen 6 Liberty I had on loan is because some people have a thing about CVTs they programmed it to feel more like a conventional autobox with 'steps' in the acceleration. Couldn't see the point in that personally, I like the smoothness of the boxer engine + CVT combo.

Other than that I thought the Gen 6 suspension was on the soft side but it was a very well rounded package and for the money was absolutely packed with gear. If I was shopping in that bracket I would have to give it serious consideration. Yep it isn't quick but it does the job

I have to say I'm enjoying going in for service and walking away with no surprises. Every time I've mentioned anything that could potentially be an issue the answer has always been 'no, it's fine'. And it is. Not bad for a car that's about to turn 10.

That's an S80... not an XC90. The XC70, XC60 and S60 all got the twin turbo but the XC90 stayed with the single turbo motor right through. They did bump the power up to 151kw where as the twin turbo ended up at 172kw with Polestar tune.

As Michael said re xc90 D5 unfortunately.
Finding a good later xc60 D5 is an option as past 7 seat need.
Outback Gen 5 is still on the list. I could adjust to the cvt. Not quick but does the job sums it up best. Well sorted package. Would lean to the 2.0D but might look harder and find a 3.6.
Waiting of a drive of a d4 xc60 before making decision.

Found a late 2016 3.6 - very nice and suspension much more suited than the showroom 2019 which seemed under dampened at any speed.
Also enjoying giving the v50 T5 a blast on the hills.
Have apt to drive a new xc60 tomorrow. No idea what as it changes daily with each call. Then d day.
