Finally got around to having the Brembos fitted. Took it for a 3 second drive literally and can already feel a massive difference. I’m happy with the outcome

While it was in getting brakes done I had the rear seat cracks filled and dyed. Before and after shots. Come up
Like new.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the brakes after more use and specifically some spirited driving. By all reports, the rears become too good/strong and will lock much before the fronts. It certainly all looks the goods.

Thanks. I will monitor. The fronts are a considerable size bigger than the rears so in theory shouldn’t., but I’ll see.

I wonder if an exhaust shop would make this up - I have the original (but looking a bit worse for wear) and i'm looking to replace my exhaust with a TME unit from VP Tuning, but would like the original look from the back.. I wonder what they are made from..

I’ve actually purchased a square end tip from Sweden and will get it fitted shortly. I too like the original look

FCP? I couldn't find it I don't think... I need to order a bunch of bits and pieces so will add this

I got it from a Swedish site after as search online. simons exhaust makes it. Exhaust will need a small cut to fit but will be perfect.

Ok after a bit of a drive today to see how the brakes feel, all I can say is awesome. Feels like a modern car. Lot of bite without needing to push the pedal all the way. The problem I felt this car had was that the brakes were too small and needed serious pedal pressure to get the car to do anything remotely looking like stopping. Now it’s chalk and cheese. A recommended upgrade for anyone looking to improve these cars.

@martin what site did you get the exhaust tip from? I've been looking for a nice one like that for my 850R

I can’t really recall now. I just googled it until I found one. Cost was about $150 I think landed into OZ.

I do like the Porsche version however the Alfa Brembos were easier for me to source and found them a bit more affordable.

Just fitted new corner indicator lights and a new grill. The old grill was very worn and dark with years of elements on it. I’m very happy with the outcome.
