irishbastard;20115 wroteYeah, But if I might add, I've been in a car accident in a 740turbo wagon, and a really bad accident in a cream 240 sedan and I've walked away from both without so much as a mark, and I've been in a road rage in a maroon (red) 440, wasn't so lucky there though :p newer cars are safer to some extent, but I'm honestly afraid of cars with airbags, and Volvo and other car manufacturers have taken the crumple zone way to far!
Edit: in my opinion.
If you ever saw just how much more safty cage was in an 850 over a 2/7/9 you would understand why you should be driving a 850 at minimum for a daily driver
An 850 is orders of magnitude safer in any colision then a 240
Just for refrence, uder the current 2014 safty system, a 1995 850 with side airbags would still be rated as a 4 star vehicle
I really wish NSW would switch from 30 years to 25 years, I'm getting sick of waiting to be able to import and register the Tentacle Wagon
Alternativly, I have highly considered getting a VIC address so I can register it under the Vic scheme
I have no desire to ever daily drive the wagon, only to be able to use it at club events etc, I just simply do not want to have to wait yet another 5 years :-(
(Car was Built in December 1990 so its only 18 months away from eligability)
