Hi All,

Getting some error codes off the XC90.

I think I can replace the pressure sensor to fix a couple of them but the P0105 & P2227 I’m not sure what to do with them. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, what year, which engine?
And, probably where are you as the volvo must be diagnosed with a specialised VIDA DICE unit, an elm or other diagnostic unit will only give generic codes, we can point you to a good shop.
Hi @Ex850R, it's a 2008 XC90 3.2lt
I'm located in Cooma, NSW
air pressure codes... could be the map sensor...
There is also a service note out for a software upgrade that reduces occurrences of false codes
When was the last time the car got software upgrades at a Volvo dealership?
@Philia_Bear not sure, i've had it only a few months but before then who knows. I don't have a Volvo dealership near me, closest is Canberra
@timbo
You hate the 3.2 less than me
Your thoughts appreciated
@its_dunks has been chasing map sensor issue since the intake was removed to fix alternator I think?
I would want to smoke test for vacuum leaks and see what the rail pressure sensor is actually reading and start there.
Take it to indie workshop in Canberra, get all service items fixed at same time so you are set up.
7 days later
I replaced the fuel pressure sensor and it cleared two codes. Just have the P0105 & P2227 now

Any details on this workshop? I’ve tried Google for Indie workshop but haven’t found it. Is Indie short for something?
