How The do I remove this backrest? Where are the bolts or whatever? Have had no luck on the stupid google on other threads on Volvo forums (usually because some fuckwit decides to change the subject)

740 sedan rear backrest removal
Remove the seat first. You can pull the seat base up at the back as there are two clips underneath that act like hinges.
Once the seat base is removed, the back rest has two clips at the base holding it in place. Bend these away and the whole back section slides up. There are two more hooks at the top.
The armrest can be removed after this as it is bolted separately to the body.
