carnut222 I pulled the a/c out of my 93 240 wagon when converted to an EV. What does the part you need look like as I might have it in storage.
ab1 I presume something like this. Unfortunately I can't seem to find too much info on it besides tbforum and can't find any local suppliers. Do you know if it's a fixed or variable type
carnut222 Not sure about it Alex. Whatever was standard in 1993. That item looks like something that should be replaced with new? Being small you should be able to get it overseas or shipped reasonably priced. Where does it fit? I didn’t see it so I assume it’s inside one of the fittings or a valve body or housing or something?
ab1 It should be on the outlet of the evaporator where it comes out of the firewall Yes absolutely replace when performing work as they can get clogged. If I can't finda variable one I'll just go with a fixed one They're not dear max cost up to $15 They only benefit cooling when stationary so it shouldn't be a huge deal for me
