Looks nice. The last NSW one of these in same colour and claimed condition was advertised at a little over half that price, but of course was sold in couple of days.

Anthony, looking at your garage a p1800 must be about the only one you haven't got....I agree with you on the "claimed condition" bit....You only have to add up $ on what it can cost to restore. A full strip out & bare metal respray can be $30k ,interior trim $7+, then there are gauges ,dash, glass ,rubbers, chrome ,wheels, tyres ,lights that's only the outside without any mechanical things so yes it could be very cheap if its in the "claimed condition ".

Absolutely, I agree 100%. Thats why the last one mentioned that listed for 29500 only lasted a few days. Even though cost of high quality restoration is big $$$$ I still feel over 40K is "fully priced" with minimal upside potential..... But I thought that when nice ones were regularly trading under 30, so happy to admit I'm probably going to live to see that I'm wrong on this.
Owning a few other investment grade vehicles including 928's and an XR6 Sprint (and a Lincoln Mark V and 87/88 Corvette C4 high on the wishlist) I just couldn't consider an 1800 unless it was "worth" 40+ and trading for around 30, despite my Volvo collection missing this prized gem.

You can never tell with pictures but it looks like a good example, and you have to bear in mind most of the P1800s that come up are not the cow horn bumper models. These earlier cars are the most desirable from a collector point of view. That said, the price is high and it's hard to know if the market is there yet.
