But for road cars in NSW, you cannot exceed 2" width increase (6" standard) without engineering approval, so this discussion can go as far as it wants when someone asks "What's the biggest wheel that will fit?" Short answer, 8-8.5" with the correct offset without cutting
gareth12 Yeah im talking without cutting, maybe a little guard roll - but thats not so easy on a volvo, they are strong as hell. Rim width can be whatever suits, assume offset is about as close to ideal as possible. Just talking physically how wide a tyre will fit
Ghettobird 225s on my 17', 7.5' wide Eikers comes pretty close with 16.5mm spacers on the front, the rear has a pinkie of clearence & has never touched Pic is with 25mm spacers that would scrub on big bumps, but looked fresh af
