Hi all

I've just purchased the following alternator and mounts from a Volvo 440 wreck. I know the 440's are the unloved child in the volvo family.

I'm actually retro-fitting these to a Renault Clio Sport 182. The 440 uses a Renault motor and guys in the UK have successfully used the 440 alternator + mounts on the Clio.

Refer to the below pics. This is what I got. I reckon I can use the top mount, but the lower adjuster mount looks different. I think the reason is that is that I needed the mounts from a 1.7L motor (which i dont think was sold in Oz) and the ones i've sourced are from the 2.0L

This is the one i think I'm meant to be using:

Question:
Anyone have a part number for the lower mount? Or, even better, does anyone know if these lower brackets where used on any other volvos? Does anyone have one or know where I can source one?

I think a mount from a 360 may work also.

Appreciate the help.

cheers
James
Further to the above, in case anyone was wondering - Why am I retro fitting this to my Clio?

Its because I'm going to remove the power steering and Air con. Doing this means requires new mounts and an alternator.
@iceton1975 has a a 440 for sale. He might be able to get a part number for you
Lack of Renault engines in Aus 440 and 360 makes finding bits here harder. If you need stuff in future guys in the uk and Netherlands frequent volvo300mania.co.uk
