ICEDVOVO Are Cargo covers in P80 ie 850 wagons & P80 V70 wagons interchangeable? Now for some ramble. Zone out NOW. Those P80 covers had fragile wind up mechanisms. When I bought my 850 wagon new from Denlo they replaced it twice under warranty, on the 2nd occasion with an upgraded version. After warranty the spring played up and the cover got twisted up, repaired it but never the same. When ABS went , front seats started looking tatty and after a tradie flicked an acetone filled brush all over the bonnet and roof I traded that wagon in on my P2 V70T 75th anniversary at Denlo. Denlo had 3 of the 75th anniversary wagons in the showroom and one AWD wagon which I stupidly overlooked as it went for only $1000 more than mine and was around $90000. I really got screwed on that price, ended up being $83K And if I'd known R versions were coming 6 months later I may have waited and spent the extra $25K. I cant imagine having a spare $120K to spend on a car now. But back then I was a fighter and took on all comers. My P2 wagon cargo cover has been reliable just like the rest of the car since the day it came out of the showroom. Car is over 16 years old now and my wife loves that cover. She hates ppl being able to see whats inside the wagon so the cover is religiously drawn before closing the tailgate. She has same obsession with windows coverings. If the wagon had venetians they'd be kept closed too! Its a form of OCD.
