If i can do a low K T6 xc90 with a fixed gearbox i may go that way for myself. Not going to pin you on price Steve , just a good indication please? Les.
@Ex850R KM on these don't really matter at this point
They will all need suspension rebuild work and the usual stuff which is all age related
The older T6 motors only really go bad if the owner skips or extends oil services, as long as the oil got changed every 10,000km then the motor will go to the moon and back.... the trans was seriously about the only downside to the car
There are 3 things you want done
#0 Software update
#1 trans built with the performance rebuild kit and drums replaced as required (drum replacement cost is sub 15% of total cost of job if required)
#2 replace the CV's with the updated part that have the end caps welded in instead of pressed in... (prevents caps popping out and the trans filling with CV grease)
Do all that and it will last eons
