i know it's late in the piece but as a electronics guy and having repaired a few of these units, they can be a big headache. The chrysler unit is very similar to the lean burn computer on 80's chryslers . From memory lh 2.2(86) uses a load signal from the chrysler which goes to the lh 2.2 . lh 2.4 cpu's use a load pin - so in theory you use a separate ignition harness and just one wire to lh computer . be aware that 83 to 88 240's had cracked wiring harnesses. the lh 2.2 and lh 2.4 computers are not pin compatible .without the load signal the fuel computer will only activate for a few seconds - in case of engine stall .you can use a ezk117 from a 740 with kjet or preferably a ezk116 from a later 240-better stability and a replaceable power unit- the chrysler units i repaired all had blown output transistors due to faulty leads. the ezk116 unit is best as it is also tied to engine temp, the mpg chrysler box is not and it's timing curve is very aggresive, unworkable in turbo i would think .
